It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Allison Jane Reilly on June 13, 2026, at the age of 54.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, on February 18, 1972, Allison immigrated to Canada with her parents, Frank and Eleanor Reilly, and her brother Derek in the same year. Canada became the place where she built her life, formed lasting friendships, and dedicated herself to making a positive impact on those around her.

Allison was predeceased by her beloved parents, Frank and Eleanor Reilly. She leaves behind her loving brother, Derek (Susan), and her sisters, Gillian (Phillip) and Kirsten (Alexandru), as well as her seven cherished nieces and nephews, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.

Known for her kindness, vivacious spirit, and fun-loving nature, Allison had a remarkable ability to make others feel welcome and valued. Her warmth, laughter, and generous heart touched countless lives. Whether sharing stories, offering support, or bringing people together, she left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Allison recently graduated from an Event Management program; she was passionate about using her education to create more LGBTQ+ events and opportunities within the community, a goal that reflected her deep commitment to ensuring everyone felt seen, celebrated, and connected.

Throughout her life, Allison struggled with mental health but demonstrated extraordinary strength, resilience, and perseverance every day. Her willingness to keep moving forward, even during difficult times, was a testament to her character and serves as an inspiration to those who loved her.

Allison will be remembered for her compassion, her vibrant personality, her unwavering authenticity, and the love she shared so freely. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her spirit will continue to live on in the memories of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Cremation has already taken place, and a celebration of Allison’s life will be announced at a later date, to be held in August 2026.
