Lorraine Fitzmaurice

May 28, 1967 – June 20, 2026

Lorraine Elizabeth Fitzmaurice of Waterloo passed away unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

Born in Kitchener on May 28, 1967, she was predeceased by her father, Bernard (“Bernie”) Fitzmaurice.

She is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Jesse Haman (Mollie Sommers) of Kitchener and Zackary Wimmer-Haman (Heather Wimmer-Haman) of Dryden, NY. Her memory will also be carried on by her granddaughter, Agnes Wimmer-Haman; her sister, Linda Haman (Dominic Haman); her brother, Leonard Fitzmaurice (Sheila Badry); her mother, Mary Fitzmaurice; her nieces and nephews; and many friends, both past and present.

Lorraine’s pride and joy were her children and granddaughter, and she was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her second grandchild in November 2026.

She was passionate about assisting those with disabilities through her decades of work at Manulife and cared deeply about her beloved pugs, Rocky and Frank.

Lorraine was an avid golfer, and she, Jesse, and Zack were fortunate enough to share her last round of golf together just days before her untimely passing.

Her infectious laugh and lively personality will be missed by all who loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Homeward Bound Rescue, which was instrumental in helping find a loving new home for Rocky and Frank
